This piece reflects the dream of a “perfect home and ideal family” — the one society often paints for us: a warm, orderly house where everyone smiles, plays their roles flawlessly, and life unfolds like a well-rehearsed scene.
But here I stand outside, simply looking in. Once, I longed to be part of this picture, to have what seemed like the ultimate happiness. Over time, I came to realize that what I saw was often just a polished surface, a carefully arranged façade that didn’t always mirror reality.Standing outside now is my quiet choice — a decision to no longer chase ready‑made perfection. Instead, I choose to remain in my own space, even if it’s less polished or neatly packaged. It may not fit the mold, but it’s honest. And it’s mine.
