The Preta, a representation of the form of sin that can be described in detail and understood by many, is "thin-bodied, as tall as a palm tree, with a mouth the size of a needle's eye, hands as large as palm leaves, and unable to speak, so it emits a high-pitched wailing sound." If the face of sin is as clear as this, why are humans not afraid of sin?
